The Cinema and Miniature museum is located in the Presqu'île, the central part of the City of Lyon, France.

The museum's aim is to bring the secrets of film-making to a wider public, through a selection of fascinating artifacts that interact with each other.

The museum houses two permanent collections: one devoted to the art of miniatures, the other to the special effects techniques used in film shoots.

With 2,000 square meters of permanent exhibition space, plus several large temporary exhibition halls, the museography invites visitors to travel through more than a century of technical and aesthetic evolution, to better grasp the challenges of a collective imagination nourished by extraordinary visions.
